Awesome day to hike up Mt Washington and Monroe. The conditions are honestly pretty awesome right now. Doable with microspikes although some icier sections crampons might’ve been beneficial. Mostly packed powder, some blue ice sections. Snow drifts above tree line but not very deep maybe 4-5 inches. Post holed a little on Ammo only if you stepped off trail off the main “monorail†that is trying to form. Amazing day in the Presidentials! |
