Nice easy winter one to hit up with some friends that we’ve been socially distant from the last couple months. Easy spikes only needed trails to get to a summit with terrific views when clear. We lucked out and the clouds moved away as we summitted. We had a beautiful undercast towards the Willey range and clear skies towards Washington. A bit icy under the snow in spots but nothing a sharp pair of spikes can’t handle. If we were not hiking with a group of friends, we would’ve ran out from the top. Trail conditions are amazing right now. |
