Comments
Comments: Great conditions today. Bare boots until North Sugarloaf. Put spikes on heading over to Middle and kept them on until the end of Zealand Road headed back to the car. Would be manageable without spikes but do not recommend. Packed highway in terms of winter conditions. Some rocks and roots showing through the snow on trail which is interesting for January. A few minor sections of avoidable ice on trail, all before the split leading to North/Middle. Saw one other hiker today and enjoyed a nice mellow quite day in the woods.
