Comments
Comments: Great day to do a traverse with a friend and we didn't see a single soul today. With the conditions, the undercast, and the great views we got a treat. Thanks to some intel from a friend who did it on Friday we were able to leave the snowshoes in the car. Barebooted to Zealand Hut and spikes to Lincoln Woods. There was a solid base on the section from Zealand to Guyot but there was a couple inches of drifted snow on top of everything so it was sometimes hard not to slide off the compacted base and posthole off to the side of the trail. With a few more inches of drifted snow it should get repacked with snowshoes to reconsolidate. Some sections of dry trail on the summit cone of Bondcliff and packed snow everywhere else. Be careful as branches coming down Bondcliff Tr are at that perfect face whacking level
