| Surface Conditions: |
Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |

| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Drakes Brook is running and there isn't really a good snowbridge. A bit of minor rockhopping on ice covered rocks; nothing terrible but does require some caution. The Drake Brook Trail crossing is a bit easier than the Sandwich Mountain Trail crossing. |

| Comments: |
Besides a bit of iffyness on the brook crossings, excellent hiking conditions. Virtually entire loop is thin but well packed snow; very few rocks or ice. Perfect for microspikes; never even came close to switching to my snowshoes. |
