Another quick, short hike to the summit of the Unnamed Peak at Pillsbury State Park. Part of the NH 100 Fire Tower
Past & Present List, #54/100.
Went roughly 9/10 mile down Mad Road Trail until an old logging landing and took a left thru an easy hardwood glade to the summit about 1/4 mile.
The summit is a maze of large pine/spruce blowdowns. Not broken off, the trees were pulled out by their root balls. A giant game
of pick up sticks. |
