Comments
Comments: Route was in good microspiking condition. There were just a few spots of exposed ice here and there, none extensive, all easily negotiated. There was a little bit (less than an inch) of new snow on the well-packed trail; that new snow is now well-packed with about 15 other hikers on this route today. (At least two hikers - maybe some others - also hiked over to Mount Flume.) There were a few slightly bony spots, but nothing too bad. The boniest was the last 100 or 200 yards to the summit, with light new snow over the rocks.
