| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were blazed, though we did loose the trail on Four Soliders Path before Eye of the Needle. We followed the moose tracks by mistake. In general we did not have the navigation problems mentioned in some summer trail reports from past years. There were several large recent blowdowns on all the trails. |

| Comments: |
A long loop over Crescent Ridge to the Pond of Safety. All trails were broken out to some degree. We could have used spikes or snowshoes but went with spikes. There was only about 3" of snow and it would have been rocky and bony in spots for snowshoes. No views today, but very pleasant in the woods. We saw several spruce grouses. We did not see anyone else all day. |
