Comments
Comments: A long loop over Crescent Ridge to the Pond of Safety. All trails were broken out to some degree. We could have used spikes or snowshoes but went with spikes. There was only about 3" of snow and it would have been rocky and bony in spots for snowshoes. No views today, but very pleasant in the woods. We saw several spruce grouses. We did not see anyone else all day.
