Comments
Comments: Packed snow up Bridal Path to just above tree line after hut. Snow drifts and unpacked snow from tree line up. Slow and tough going. Ridge was a mix of thin snow, large drifts, and 5” of fresh powder. Falling waters was packed snow top to bottom. Broke trail above the tree line on Lafayette all the way to Little Haystack. Wore Hillsound trail crampons the whole time, but think a 10 point crampon would have been the best choice.
