Comments
Comments: From vehicle walked down short distance on Comstock Rd to groomed snomo trail. Followed snomo trail (corridor 142) across stream and onto West Side Indian Stream Rd. At .8 mile from vehicle, turned N on large logging road. Followed logging road into extensive clearcut and huge logging yard. Continued NNW on nice skidder roads through the clearcut. Easily crossed to E side of brook at 1675'. Once on other side of brook, we immediately found and followed a network of skidder roads that brought us to a mini-col just S of peak. Then bw through wide open hard woods to recognized high point.Followed our tracks back out.
Breaking effort - 12" in dry powder snow
Grades - all easy
Vegetation - occasional whips on skidder roads; wide open woods for summit bw
