Comments
Comments: From vehicle, crossed plowed road to walk on a short unplowed road for a few hundred feet to another plowed road. Turned left on plowed road and walked this for a few hundred feet until we saw an old skidder road headed in the right direction. Followed skidder road to a house foundation where we caught another skidder road headed up to the W end of the summit ridge. Followed summit ridge, at times on skidder roads, to recognized summit.
Breaking conditions - 4” powder on thin supportive base
Grades - mostly easy, one moderate stretch
Vegetation - open young hardwoods with a lot of whips on summit ridge
