Comments
Comments: Two of us followed Phil's and one other solo female's (we saw her on our way up and her way down) tracks to the summit. Trail is nicely broken out, even after yesterday's snow (we got back to trailhead at 4:30 pm). The WMG and 52 WAV guide books advise that trail is lightly blazed up higher but we found this not to be the case.

This is a gorgeous winter hike and was perfect for enjoying the falling snow. The trail is not terribly steep and there are no scrambles. If you enjoy a quiet walk through a beautiful forest and can live with a hike without views (even climbing the steps at the summit just barely gives you a taste of how pretty the view *could* be) this is a great choice.
