Comments
Comments: Snowshoes roundtrip, a few people used spiked and would post hole here and there--even racing snowshoes would have been better than no shoes at all. From Greenleaf Hut it was windy and though not too cold ice/snow whipped at our faces. Not too boney on the ridge was enough snow to keep snowshoes on all the way across. We enjoyed wonderful clear views and were done as the snow moved it. We passed 13 people headed up Falling Waters as we descended, we hoped they wouldn't get stuck in a white out up there. I am writing this Monday morning and Franconia didn't get much snow last night so conditions shouldn't have changed much, maybe an inche or two, wear snowshoes and have a good time. Fun time with Bria, Eric and Jerm.
