Comments
Comments: From vehicle, walked S on Rt 142 to a bit downhill from HOL, just beyond a white cottage. Went into woods at road sign reading Trucks Use Lower Gear. Immediately saw tree with yellow blaze. We did not follow the blazes but set a bearing directly for the summit. Encountered the yellow blazed trail on the summit. This trail appears to be heavily traveled from its trailhead on Lewis Hill Rd.
Breaking conditions - 8” in powder
Grades - easy, with one short moderate stretch
Vegetation density - open/wide open woods
