Comments
Comments: From vehicle, crossed Lewis Hill Rd and entered large field. Followed rock wall on S side of field to edge of woods. Here there was a Forest Conservancy sign and a blue blaze. Followed blue blazes to a collapsed bridge at a brook and then to a raised pedestrian bridge through a marshy area. Continued to follow blazes until they reached a field. Blazes continued W but we turned S to follow the ridge to the summit at times seeing more blue blazes. Summit register bottle wrapped in orange tape is located at edge of potentially sprucy area. Blue blazes were probably perimeter blazes, and not trail blazes.
Breaking effort - 12” nice powder on probably thin base
Grades - all easy
Vegetation density - open/wide open woods, stick woods
