At the end of Curtisville Rd. in Concord. The lot had been sanded while I was on the walk. The unpaved section of the road was muddy and slushy this morning. |

A walk around the pond to get some photos of the ice-coated trees. The trail was mainly soft snow and slush. I made some divots, but our snow here is very thin -- only 2 or 3 in. One trail runner passed me and I noted ski tracks on the eastern half of the loop. Fairly sloppy conditions aided by melting ice from the trees.
Two beavers were out by the road working on a dam, and didn't seem to mind my presence too much. Love watching them! |
