Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We drove in Success Pond Road about 7 miles. The unnamed road is about .1 miles before reaching Henry Hill Road. SPR was wide enough at this point to park. The road had not been plowed since the previous night's snow of 2" and was easy to drive to this point. Active logging is still going on so you need to be aware of these huge trucks coming and going.

Comments
Comments: We took the unnamed road for nearly 1 mile in a Northwesterly direction bringing us to the East side of HH. From here it was a pretty straight shot on a good bearing using the skidder road to a point about 300 yards from the recognized summit. There are terrific views of the Mahoosuc Range from the RHP and easterly. We followed our tracks out.
Snow Surface - 20"-24" of soft granular with about a 1/2" breakable crust. Lots of Moose activity in this area.
2.5 hours going in, 50 minutes coming out.
