Comments
Comments: Many of the lower trails near Valley Way are tracked. Crust/ice above Treeline. I took several snowfield short cuts, including a cut along the north side of Sam Adams from Adams 4. Challenging boilerplate on Jefferson, that I handled in snowshoes, but probably should have switched to the crampons. Mountaineering axe was a big help on Jefferson, especially the sidehill coming up from Edmans. The route noted is the main traveled route out of the RMC camps. Trails above RMC camps have little evidence of travel.
