Comments
Comments: Crust from the storm earlier this week is not as supportive here as it was on the Squam Range. Fine snowshoeing on stuff that was machine groomed prior to the storm, however untouched stuff was near-instant sinking. One foot or so of snowpack, increasing to about 3 at the summit. 1-2" of fluffy powder on top of the crust.

Some folks out skiing (earning their turns), but not as many as last weekend. Whereas I thought there was a decent chance the ski area might reopen this winter last weekend, I don't think it will happen at this point.
