 | Comments: |
We used snowshoes start to finish but many more people wore microspikes or bare booted. Trail was firm with some loose snow on top, a little chewed up in spots but thankfully no ankle rocking today. We took Sosman to summit then looped down via Mt. Tecumseh trail, which reminded us of why we rarely go that way. It is a steep drop from the top, some ice and rocks showing in spots. It has not been well-packed out with snowshoes, so very narrow track, uneven surface, postholes, loose snow. Most unpleasant, we suggest you stick to Sosman. Busy trail so lots of stepping out. Otherwise a beautiful blue bird day!
