Comments
Comments: West Ridge trail is nicely packed down. Skyland Trail was much less travelled. Most people I saw wore spikes, but there were a few other snowshoers. Spikes were okay for West Ridge Trail, but snowshoes better for Skyland Trail. I wore mountaineering snowshoes the whole way and enjoyed them. a sidewalk -- it's an easy and fast highway to or from the summit. Rimrock was snow covered but wind blown to hard pack.
