Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: From Franconia, took Rt 117 to Lover's Lane. Parked on N side of Lover's Lane near jct with Grandview next to white house with red extension. Also stake next to road with #243. Parked with 2 wheels on snow bank so as not to obstruct road. Lover's Lane, just S of the jct with Grandview, had a few spots where the road was plowed wide enough to park without preventing passing of emergency vehicles. Lover's lane and Grandview have much POSTED property, but it appears to be relatively easy to find unposted access.

Comments
Comments: From vehicle, we crossed a big field and started straight up the mountain through wide open hardwoods. Zero breaking effort on ideal surface conditions until approx 1850' when we started experiencing unsupportive crust which got progressively worse as we approached the summit. We wandered around the sparsely treed summit going from one contender high point to another, never finding a bottle.
