Comments
Comments: Trail initially was hardpack, perhaps a foot deep with an inch or so of new snow on top. Snowpack transitioned to packed powder as one pulled away from the highway and started to ascend. Occasional postholes down low. A good three feet of snowpack up high.

We wore snowshoes roundtrip; it was a very nice footbed for them, especially with the new powder.

A little windy up top, but otherwise fairly calm weather. Snow was coming down much of the morning, though it was starting to change over to a light mist in the Plymouth area early this afternoon. Perhaps 1-2" of new snow thus far.
