Trail was packed soft snow. Used Microspikes until about .3 miles from the summit, then switched to snowshoes. Thank you to Lauren and Jill for a group effort to break trail to summit of Middle Sister and then back down Champney Falls cut off. So happy I ran into them and their cute French bulldog, Hans. Amazingly mild day with no wind! |
