We were the first on the Mill Brook Trail since the last big snowfall and broke it out. The snowpack is a few feet deep, for the most part we only sunk a few inches. Followed what we think were Moose tracks for a bit. You definitely still need snowshoes, and I'm sure the weather Mon/Tuesday will do a number on the trail. Lost the Mill Brook Trail close to the junction with Killkenny Ridge Trail, but hit the Killkenny Ridge and continued on our way. Took the same route out, so be aware if you follow our tracks we looped around a bit trying to get back on trail there. |
