Comments
Comments: Since it was so lovely we decided to do one more thing and Becca wanted to snowshoe, I cried a lot we didn't bring our skis/snowboard but it was a fine snowshoe. Up the well skied in firm ski trail to Old Path and then it was a nice soft snowshoe track. The col was drifted in and postholed to South Doublehead, we visited both bumps for the views. Then tramped over to North, so SAD that the Forest Service has allowed the vista behind the cabin to grow in. Some good folks have made efforts to cut a few of the trees down, I hope more help out. Three skiers were ripping off their skins we when headed down. Top half of the trail was nice packed powder and lower half was firm. We snowshoed down the side of the ski trail, there were plenty of moguls on the trail. Nice outing.
