I parked at the entrance to Lovewell Mountain Road on Halfmoon Pond Road. Enough room for one truck or two small cars if both owners are hiking together. This arrangement will allow enough room for snow machines to pass. |

Lovewell Mountain Rd. (Snomo trail at this time), Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway
The entire route was a hard packed trail. The Greenway has seen great use from snowshoe travel (no post holes to contend with) and the track is wide. Because of the below freezing temps today the trail didn't soften. Carried my shoes but never needed them. Off trail the depth is probably 20" and punchy in places when I tested it. |
