About 2 dozen folks meandered up the trail today and an additional 6 or 7 idjits with little to no gear were dragging fat wheel bikes up. I assume they road down Gorge Brook. I and maybe 4 others were in snowshoes, everyone else in spikes. To about 3500 feet, the spikes were fine but as the snow thickened, the trail turned choppy and postholed.
The Glencliff and Snapper trails had some drifts, from my observation, and weren't as broken out as Gorge Brook. People were using that route today thiugh. |
