Comments
Comments: From vehicle, walked .2 mile N on well snowshoed Farr Hill Rd. to groomed snomo trail. Followed snomo trail for a very short distance before starting bw directly towards summit crossing/following old woods roads. Soon found ourselves directly SE of the steep E face of the peak. Walked a short distance SW and then easily walked up the S ridge. Open peak with nice views.
Entire hike in wide open/sparse hard woods.
Grades - all easy with one short moderate stretch
breaking effort - none to minimal due to unsupportive crust
