10 degrees at start. Used microspikes until about 1800’ then switched to snowshoes due to powdery conditions. Stayed with the snowshoes until the lower elevations on Centennial Trail and then switched back to spikes. Clear blue day.....never saw a soul until I was almost back to the car. |
