Comments
Comments: Took the Peek Trail directly up from the kiosk end of the parking area. Above the junction with the Mount Crescent Trail, we broke trail in about 2" of fresh powder. The track from previous hikers was visible in most areas, but obscured in others with drifting snow. The last 1/2 mile up the Mount Crescent and the sections of the descent on the Crescent Ridge trails are quite steep and snowshoes with televators are recommended. Fabulous views to the Northern Presidentials, and to the north, at the lookouts! Approx 3.5 mile RT "lollipop" route.
