Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked .6 mile from Rt 3 at the plowed end of North Jordan Hill Rd. There is a good spot here where a groomed snomo trail enters and continues up Jordan Hill Rd. Scouted this road earlier this winter. It was steep, slippery, barely sanded, and appeared to never have been salted.

Comments
Comments: From vehicle, booted a groomed, snomoed Jordan Hill Rd. approx 1 mile to a trailer where we turned onto another wide road and put on snowshoes. We soon passed a gate welcoming hikers and approx .5 mile later arrived at a large clearing with a green camp nearby-at approx 1950'. Entered sparse woods next to the camp and walked short distance to the NE. At 2000' we came upon a skidder road jct.- one road going N, the other going E. We took the one going E. It was moderately steep, free of trees and whips, no ice. We followed it to 2300' where we turned N up a sparsely treed drainage, then through open woods before arriving at the recognized summit. Register bottle has multiple entry sheets along with a $5 bill. Followed our tracks back.
grades- all easy, except for a short moderately steep stretch
breaking effort - none - exceptional surface conditions
vegetation density - no trees, or sparsely treed
