Comments
Comments: Spikes from start to finish. Trail was hard packed with minor some ice flows at the beginning. Lots of postholes along entire trail, easy to avoid, but need to watch your steps due to unevenness of trail. All were hard packed, but I suspect this will change with the warmer weather expected tomorrow. Minimal sticking, but it seemed to be getting worse in areas exposed to the sun on the way down. Views were incredible w/o a cloud in the sky. Thankfully, we beat a large crowd coming up another trail as we made our way to the east view point. The summit was very crowded as we started to make our way back to the trail heading down.
