Comments
Comments: Conditions are deteriorating very quickly with temperatures in the mid-60s today. Trail is still about 90% covered with ice/spring snow, but the thawed areas are dominated by boot-sucking mud. Snowshoes will be superfluous on this route unless we get more snow. Some ice on the pitches where Microspikes came in handy.

With the continued melting and runoff, I think this trail will need to be avoided after the middle of this week, perhaps until early to mid-April, depending upon the weather and how quickly the mud dries out.
