| Comments: |
The Falling Waters Trail was frozen solid due to recent cold. Easy hiking with microspikes and no postholing. The Ridge was mostly clear of snow, but there was widespread ice buildup, so microspikes are essential. The sun softened the snow on Old Bridle Path during our afternoon descent; so we took off the microspikes. Again, very minimal postholing.
All in all, trail conditions were excellent. |
