Comments
Comments: Spotted two cars for this one-way hike. Started in Diana's bath at 9 am. Icy main path but walkable. Put on microspikes when we started up the north moat trail and kept them on until we got to Middle Moat. Monorail is still solid and usable for most of the trail. Dicey in a few spots, but snow shoes stayed on our pack. Once you get to Middle Moat, the trail is mostly dry or wet for the rest of the way. Took off our microspikes and never needed them again. Still 1' - 3' of snow on North Moat. Lots of signs of post-holing, but we were lucky. Beautiful day to be out with stunning 360 views.
