Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a black off-brand microspike about a half a mile from the trailhead. Brought it down and left it at the trailhead kiosk. Kiosk also had a water bottle (I think with the name Amanda on it) and an empty geocache box.

Comments
Comments: On the ascent, the trail had an inch or two of fresh powder. Not quite enough for snowshoes, but enough that spikes helped a little to keep from slipping. Rocks weren't entirely covered, even with the new snow - I’m guessing a lot had melted up until recently.

On the decent, the trail was getting slushy in spots. Snow was clumping to the bottom of our spikes. Down low there were small areas of mud and bare ground where snow had been on our ascent.
