 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Use caution when crossing on Falling Waters Trail. Some were hoppable but with the ice melting some had minimal options for footing. I recommend poles for extra stability. I had one foot go in and was happy to change into my spare pair of wool socks before summitting Little Haystack. |

 | Comments: |
Beautiful day on the ridge! Spikes the whole way. Even with the snow Friday, the trail was packed out. Mix of bare rocks and ice across the beginning of the ridge from Little Haystack to Lincoln. More snowy conditions on Lafayette. Mix of ice and snow coming down Lafayette. Afternoon sun meant sticky spring snow coming down Old Bridle Path. Overall trails were in great shape! Just use caution with water crossings on Falling Waters, not sure how conditions will be moving forward. |
