Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One gray hat found near the campsite spur on Piper. I left it on top of the Iron Ranger. I lost a blue glove on Middle Sister.

Comments
Comments: The lower section of the Piper trail is completely passable with ice that is easy to avoid. Higher up, however, the snow is frozen and traction is a must. There is no choice but to walk in or around the post-holes, but the snow supported my weight in full gear. The trail over Middle Sister is not so much impassible but NO FUN with ice, sticks and unpleasantness. Wait until spring's a little further along, and then give my mitten a good home.
