 | Comments: |
Liberty was easy going, potentially barebootable although the spikes helped somewhat in a few places. Mud lower down, and more significant but stable snow leading up to the liberty cabin.
Descending on Brook trail was way sketchier - spikes definitely required, and would suggest ascending this route instead. Much less traveled and some pretty steep and slick spots on the rock ledges. One ice waterfall I had to cut through the woods to get around. Once I got below the ridge it was much better, but trail had quite a few blow downs and a lot of leaf cover in places. |
