The only snow or ice that is left is easily avoidable except in one small section, but definitely does not require spikes of any kind. When you hit the summit of South Doublehead be sure to keep going past the summit with one big cairn to the one that has two big cairns. Better view from there, and I've heard that that may be the true summit. There is a privy at the top of North Doublehead. Ski trail down is very gentle so great for those with weak knees. |
