Comments
Comments: This is a 345 ft. hill in Barrington, named after a golden retriever who, according to legend, was the first to discover it. :)

It can be reached by the trail system within the Samuel A. Tamposi Water Supply Reserve, described in the new (2020) edition of the "Walking Trails of Barrington, NH" guidebook.

Generally, all of these trails were wet from yesterday's weather. Rudolph's Run and Santa Claus Trail had several flooded areas. Mud was minor, and there were only a few tiny patches of snow remaining.

On the way out I visited Tibbetts Cemetery, burial site of the Tibbetts family, presumably early Barrington settlers. Many of the gravestones are simply leaning on trees and aside from the sign for the side path to it, the cemetery looks largely forgotten. :(
