Bog boy needed this one for April and we were not liking the idea of getting up early and driving further north today, so this one was perfect to get in on an April snowy trail day. We wore snowshoes most of the day. A bit boney for them down low before the ski trail viewpoint but doable. Loved having them on from that point on to ascend the stair master section, love televators! Trail got slushy on bottom half on way out and we took off the snowshoes and opted to bare boot the rest out. Great meeting other fellow aspiring gridiots and grid finishers today. Thanks for the candy Hiker Ed. This snow won’t last long so go get some soon. |
