Comments
Comments: Fourof us tackled the slush and the multitudes of slippery snowy steep little pitches. The traverse across the upper ledges was perilous both ways. Just one other hiker who actually hiked ahead of us so we could see the trail. She never donned traction, so we didn't either. I don't trust my well worn Kahtoola microspikes on steep wet rock, they can slide, while my grippy Salomon summer boots never did slip on the tricky spots. Still, we decided this trail is best done under dryer conditions, we vowed not to do this hike again with so much slippery snow.
