one minor ford towards the beginning -- easy |

trail was fine. Very impressive water-diversion work at bottom |

our two dogs loved it, and the VERY STRONG gusts on the summit didn't phase the little one |

huge, with scorpion tails! (not) |

The kiosk at the bottom is filling up with single gloves and stuff. |

| Comments: |
about 3-5" of fresh powder had gotten very sticky by the timme we started ascending. Some icy patches where the water was running over rocks in the trail up above were already crumbling in the warmer temperature. Microspikes were fine but got ice-balls constantly that had to be kicked off. This is a great trail that we've never done before; very few people. |
