Just a curious pair of boots about a half-mile in, presumably left by the gentleman hiking barefoot two miles higher up. We left the boots, assuming he'd grab them on his way out. |

| Comments: |
Snow is completely gone, which was a surprise, since I hiked this on May 13 last spring and used microspikes for the upper mile and a half. There are a few short patches of rotting ice high up, but they are easy to avoid. |
