| Comments: |
bare dry and wet ground with up to within 0.5 of WRT. Trace ice and monorail from there to WRT. Put on spikes at WRT for the ascent, across the ridge, and took them off descending below the tower on D. Firm snowpack and monorail all across WRT. No posthole issues as long as you stay on the track. Some deep snow left up to 2-3 feet across the ridge. Overcast all day with spitting precipitation starting on the tower at D. Beat the forecast rain. Between the 2 of us, we turned these to 3 - 11s and 1 - 12. Saw 4 others starting just below D and heading up Polecat. One other recognized Aspiring Gridder. |
