Beautiful day...saw 9 other hikers, only 1 who came up Pine Bend. Monorail begins at 3600'. Had spikes but chose not to use as there are enough rocks/roots/postholes to get purchase. Nice view of Washington decked out in white from the top of N. peak. Tried out a sawyer squeeze filtration system for first time...worked great and lightened things up a bit! |
