my last hike of the day and i really fouled this one up! from the car i went due north in steep and leafy ground thru ledges and boulders. somehow i got off course and wandered far and wide for a while till i hit one of the peaks. this peak had a cairn and a marker of sorts drilled into rock and there was a jar on a tree by the rock. that was good enough for me. on the way down the same thing happened! i wound up missing the fox road and fooled around a while to get back to the car. at least i summited. i think. what a trip!!! |
