Bugs
Bugs: Ticks. I found 2 ticks on me after the hike. Definitely do a tick check when you get off the mountain. Black flies were noticeable, but not too bad.

Comments
Comments: Trail is in great shape. Mostly very dry. No snow or ice on the trail until about 4200 feet. Remaining monorail is largely avoidable. Only a few short stretches on Carriage Road that can't be avoided. I think the micros can be left in the car for this one.
